Managing overseas developers

- As I have been asked this question quite a number of times
- I will list the tools I use and how I use it
- I use gmail and gtalk to talk to them one on one
- It’s easy and simple to use
- Skype is also used for team chats and screen sharing
- But when I really need to do a remote access or vice versa
- I use TeamViewer for that
- For git repo, I use bitbucket
- And JIRA for issue tracker

With the success of Brian Fargo and Tim Schafer raising funds for their own respective games on KickStarter. It looks like publishers are now being sidelined. Look at how Dell cuts out the middleman and publishers should be figuring out how they are going to survive in this new era of crowdfunding

Back against the wall

Somehow, I think Nintendo has potential to be like Kodak now. Failing to see the changing tide in the game industry. At least Sony wised up with the PS Vita
